(New York, NY) -- Meghan McCain leveled sharp criticism against the Tea Party convention's opening speaker, Republican Tom Tancredo, who suggested illiterate voters elected a "socialist" President.
The daughter of Arizona Senator John McCain appeared on ABC's "The View." She said the speech was fueled by innate racism reminiscent of the rhetoric used to keep African-Americans from voting in the 1950s.
Tancredo, a former U.S. Representative from Colorado, made the controversial comments Thursday night at a kickoff for the Nashville convention.
McCain said she has ideological differences with the Tea Party movement and believes the group is alienating young voters.

...nothing about Palin's cheat-palm?
6:18, meh. Palin is Palin. She can read crib notes on her hand while simultaneously attacking the President for using a teleprompter. I'm pretty sure most of America sees Palin for what she really is.
I'm pretty sure the exact opposite is the truth
Don't confuse "a minority of radical right-wing zealots" with "most of America."

I find this to be far more aggravating than the hand thing.
And then there is this one of Ms. McCain going after Palin. I think we need Meghan on our side folks, what do you say?
